Ron and Carolyn Kirk relocated to Mexico in 2021 from the U.S., where they produced musical events to raise funds and awareness for charities.

Having traveled and visited Mexico for over 20 years, they developed a passion for the Mexican people and for the music.

Combining these two entities into one goal to help has become their mission.

Setting out to achieve this goal in Mexico has been challenging and rewarding. Learning the culture of business as well as the family culture and musical culture is an ever-developing lesson for Pescado Loco.

It is with the help of an amazing team of talented people – administrators, audio and video experts, and musicians – that Pescado Loco has been able to make strides and progress towards their goals.

One of the first tasks was to assemble the Pescado Loco Band, comprised of accomplished local musicians that can take on any musical genre.

The goal being that any artist can step into a fully functioning and talented band to play with.

In addition, Pescado Loco Productions has special musicians to fill in certain needs – i.e. horn section, backup singers, percussion and the like as needed. Some examples of their music spectrum: Ray Charles/Motown tribute, Santana tribute, and supporting band for Samanta Rae.

The Pescado Loco Band is available to support any artist.

Along with the music, Pescado Loco Productions has state of the art audio and video equipment and operators to produce 4k, 6k, or 8k video fully interfaced with digital audio.

Through June 2024, Pescado Loco Productions is proud to have produced six large events and raised over $340,000 MXN and $17,000 USD for local organizations.

Some beneficiaries are:

Sarahuaro, PET Los Cabos, Los Cabos Fire Department, and Crescent Moon foundation.
